Coming in towards the end, dissertation is bound, exhibition space is prepped, essays are being tidied up. With a week left till show and ten days till final assessment, its a bit like being stuck in one of those TV montages, where the narrative is sped up by the editing together of multiple scenes, so much is getting done and time is passing so quickly there is barley a chance to breath! Becoming grateful for the early morning walks that I started doing in April everyday at around 7:30-8:30. These short but pleasant walks have allowed me to discover new parts of town as well as to frequent familiar locations. It has given great tranquility and grounding at a time of great stress!
There is Great excitement looking towards Degree show, still seems a lot of work needs to be tidied up but on the whole things are finished. Seems strange as three years in West Wales come to there end! Moving to Aberystwyth has to be one of the greatest decisions that I have made, the friends, colleagues, tutors and staff have been amazing support and though my work off an on Degree really allowed me to develop personally, professionally and academically. Looking forward to the next step as I move hopefully to a Masters Course at a different university in September, and once again leave Wales for England. Despite all this, Aberystwyth will always be a special place for me, there really is nowhere quite like it.
