I decided to look at mistaken photos and develop them into abstract compositions, below is a recent painting derived from the archive photo of left taken likely in error of half a window, a window box and the corner of building. Annotated as being ‘Mrs. Front of two dogs, Brighton’.
This was a turning point. Beginning to look into new methods of abstraction you will notice this. It began growing out of the recent Archive painting Project, which with a heavy heart have had to park for the meantime. Pushed it as far as I wanted for the moment and was becoming more burden than blessing! But though it have discovered a new way of working.
