Looking at developing a new direction after a bit of tough moment in project, began seeing if it was possible to create small oil composition using colours that link to the oil paintings in previous post, but done in more contemporary style.
Have changed painting surface as well, moving to board. The painting was based of aristocratic manor house from one of photos. Finding it difficult to work with oil, quickly returned to Acrylic and created to simplified versions of same compositions in Blue and Brown. Seen in studio photo here. None of these were pieces developed much further but were vital importance, at a time when feeling disillusioned with project. As allowed me to keep painting, to be persistent. Though doing this I found a way forward!
