Finding the Unloved

Had a bit of Eureka moment today and have realised what the last 6-7 years worth of works from GCSE to working towards my final degree show. There has been all the way though a transient link, that has joined so many of my major projects, as well as my more recent work volunteering with Unloved Heritage/Ceredigion Off Limits.

Its working with items, Artifacts, paintings, photographs and even processes that have been forgotten, that are unloved, that are off limits or even damaged. Fighting to find new and innovative ways in which i can take inspiration from them and bring the research though in my painting.

All this time I’ve been combining Arts and Heritage, photographing decay, building up works that are not only of themselves but link back too soo much! Bringing Contemporary methods and Historical research together in a celebration of them both.
